| Post subject: | PVR/ WIN TV Scheduler |
Well I am having some issue which caused me to erase most of my dvr. Heres the thing: I cannot open the WIN TV scheduler. When I try to access the program it only gives me half a screen and then freezes on me. I looked at some forums and they mentioned I have to have task scheduler open for WINTV to work but I am not sure how to use that either. I contacted Hauppauge and they said I had to change my DPI settings but their instructions were not clear and here I am confused as hell and frustrated. I don't mind taping show manually every so often but if I have 9 or 10 shows to tape its takes up space on the dvr and is very time consuming. I really want to just have the shows on my comp so I can edit them when I have time. Can someone explain to me in plain English step by step what it is I need to do? I know you guys know a lot more than I do. But quality wise I am satifised. Oh and to make matter worse I can't find the IR sensor on my cable box and maybe that is also the reason the scheduler won't work. |
