Windows Movie Maker allows you to do this, and it's very simple to use. I never used it before, but it took me all of 30 seconds to put a test clip like you're talking about together. And, most likely, you already have this program on your computer

How can I put a video on youtube where the screen just shows one image but you hear the clip's audio? For example...just have a static, still photo of an actress but you hear a scene with that actress. |

You have to create a video like you described. I don't know of any freeware that you can do it with, but there is software where you can output in video format using a still pic and adding a soundtrack. |

I use Windows Movie Maker. I have made videos with audio only with pictures and without and uploaded them on youtube. |
