Perhaps i am behind the times since i JUST upgraded my laptop from a Dell on that only had 20gb of storage. Tells you how longs THATS been. Anyway i have been downloading movies, 99% of which are in .avi format. So i thought it was as easy as simply copying it to the dvd and then popping it in the player. I guess it is not. It wrote to the DVD fine, but my dvd player didnt even recognize the dic. So what do i need (preferably without 50 steps involved, or needing too much technical info) to simply write it to a dvd so that i can play it in my dvd player?????? thanks |

DiVX dvd players are dirt cheap (under $40)) and can play any .avi file. All you have to do is burn it as a data DVD-R or a CD-R. A PS3 console will also do this. Pretty simple. |
