I'm not sure how to do it
I want to send files from Vista desktop to Xp desktop wirelessly
do i need a wireless card on both desktops?
The Vista pc is connected to the router with wire

I thought I replied to this. Right click the the folder you want to share and go through the wizard for setting up a home network under sharing tab. If wireless, then make sure your network is secured with either WPA or WEP. I would only enable folders with video files, and don't allow other computers to change settings. Make sure to read about the security risks. I just enable a folder with video files and nothing else on my home network so I can watch recorded movies and listen to music on my desktop in the batcave. |
