Imaginebam isn't bad. I only get hit by the 1st two clicks on either enlarging and/ or clicking fwd and/ or backward. After that, it's smooth sailing.

Finally undated my BID late last night after almost 3 yrs, so now I can go back & DNLD Nick's & others' killer Martha MacCallum, Heather Nauert, etc caps that are hosted on 'someimage, etc! I was so frustrated!

Is is still giving out virus warnings and trying to attach malware or has anyone seen it be cleaned up? I'm scared to click on preview caps now.

Have you tried it on a browser with an ad blocker or popup blocker running?

It seems to make a big difference.

I added blockers on both IE and FF. I don't have any issues any more on FF but I still can't go to Imagebam on IE. Adblock doesn't help with Imagebam on IE so I use FF when I visit which is rarely now. I go to hosting sites of all kinds all day every day and none give me the hassle that Imagebam does.

Hope this helps...

A few weeks ago, I downloaded an upgrade for Adobe/Divx that I should have recognized wasn't the ORIGINAL maker of Adobe. That's when the adware and other BS started pooping up on my iMac. I have AdBlocker and ABP, and it helps SOME but not that much.

MacKeeper has the adware on file, but it won't let me delete or quarantine the virus, meaning shelling out $$$ to have the damn thing removed. Til then I'm having problems just like y'all.

Moral of the story? If you have any kind of video players (Adobe Flash, Divx), make sure you're downloading from the trusted original source. Kinda like vampires, they can't hurt you unless you invite them in.

For this more tech savvy than I please forgive me; I don't tech that much.

Anyone using a mobile device, try the adblock browser, available for iOS or Android. https://adblockbrowser.org/

Lately every time I download something using uploaded.net it's been opening another window attempting to trick the user into downloading what is probably malware. A couple times it's been a "report" supposedly from Comcast or somewhere else reporting that my PC is infected with a virus, malware, etc. It isn't because I run all sorts of antivirus and antimalware software. Today it was trying to get me to load some security or adblocker or some other bullsh*t software which undoubtedly contains malware. is it reasonable to put uploaded.net on the sh*tlist of sites to not use or not recommend?

Thanks mods for all the work you do. :rock

Malware is out there and this site, or links off it, is no exception. My cell phone get ridiculous messages about viruses damaging the battery and all kinds of other crap when I browse this site. My laptop has Malwarebytes and Ublock on it which seem to block most of the crap.
