that survey pretty much mirrors consumer reports survey....especially in the repair results. in both surveys apple and sony were the most reliable with dell close by.....these are also the most expensive computers, but as Ive found out with TV's and stand alone DVD recorders "you get what you pay for"....I was leaning towards a HP but Ive heard mostly bad stuff about them. currently Im leaning towards a sony becouse its the only one Ive seen with a S-video output & the closest stores here only sell sony, HP, emachines, and gateway...

HP used to be good, but then the stupid woman that was running it decided to buy Compaq and HP's quality dropped to Compaq pi$$ poor quality.
HP still has good printers but their computers suck now.
