Fun fact: the last time the Saints and Vikings played each other in the playoffs, it led to overtime being changed in the NFL. It was the 2009 NFC Championship, which went to OT. Saints won the coin toss, reached FG range, made the FG and advanced to Super Bowl XLIV, which they won. The Vikings never saw the ball. In March 2010, the NFL voted to change the OT rules, doing so by a 28-4 vote. Ironically, the Vikings were one of the four teams who voted against the change. Here we are, eight years after that game, and these two teams meet in the Divisional Playoff. The 2009 game was in New Orleans; this game is in Minnesota and is a rematch of the Week 1 meeting, which was won by the Vikings. No OT will be needed this time, Saints should and will take this.
