One thing I can't help but notice: the four NFC teams playing during Wild Card Weekend were all together in the NFC West once upon a time. Of course, the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints have been part of the NFC South since 2002, and these two teams will face off for the third time this season on Sunday. The two teams finished with identical 11-5 records, but the NFC South title went to the Saints due to the team beating Carolina twice. Carolina locked in a playoff spot last week and still had an opportunity at the division in the final week, but their loss to the Falcons gave the division crown to New Orleans, who lost to Tampa Bay. It's not every day that division foes face each other three times in one season, and experts always say that it's hard to beat a team three times. I do think the third time will be the charm for the Panthers on Sunday.
