Despite a terrible losing skid late in the season, the Dodgers still ended up with baseball's best record with 104 wins; only their third 100+ win season since the team moved from Brooklyn to LA in 1958. This was done with a powerful lineup led by Justin Turner and rookie sensation Cody Bellinger, while Clayton Kershaw led the way on the mound. They have been waiting for their potential opponents for a while, though the internal standings show that it's a potential no win situation, as the Dodgers have losing records against the Rockies and Diamondbacks. The D'Backs defeated the Rockies, 11-8, so it will be them going to LA to kick off the NLDS. The 11-8 score is fitting, because it is also the season series record against the Dodgers. But despite this, Arizona is clearly outmatched by the Dodgers in every category, so this will be short.
Prediction: Dodgers sweep
#1

I am now one of the biggest Diamondbacks fans that you know. They could only have seven guys on the active roster and they would still be my pick this series.

Dodgers 9, Diamondbacks 5
Dodgers win big behind Justin Turner's five RBI (including a three run HR in the 1st)

Dodgers 8, Diamondbacks 5
Dodgers win big despite Paul Goldschmidt's two run shot to start the game.

Dodgers 3, Diamondbacks 1
Dodgers reach the NLCS for the second straight year, with Cody Bellinger's two run shot being the difference.

With Bellinger's fifth inning homer, he passed teammate Corey Seager by 58 days becoming the youngest player in Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers history to hit a home run in a postseason game.
Even more remarkable is that this will be the Dodgers' fifth NLCS appearance in the last 10 years, and third time in the last five.
The injury to Adrian Gonzalez might hurt them the deeper that series goes on, and presuming the Chicago Cubs can finally get past a sneaky opponent in Dusty Baker's Washington Nationals.
We will find out more by early Tuesday night, weather permitting. Forecast is calling for lots of showers all day on Tuesday for the Chicagoland area.
