I didn't want to put in any spoilers so I was careful writing this. It was great movie, They could have called it Rocky 7 because the way it seemed it was the story of Rocky the Senior years taking on the part of Mickey. The movie caught the spirit Rocky perfect, Stallone still plays Rocky great and Michael B Jordan was great as Adonis Johnson Creed, Rocky's story was the strong emotional part, The movie seemed short even though it ended perfectly I wanted to see more, I can't wait for part 2(even though I got a a feeling that part 2 could be very sad). The only complaints I have is the was no classic Gonna Fly Now(just an very update version) and I was hoping to see Carl Weathers appear as ghost of Apollo and it didn't happen. They say they have a trilogy planned and if that is true I would love to see in the third one Adonis fight Ivan Drago's son and with Russian athletes doping scandal it would be very appropriate story and I would like to see Rocky's son appear at some point even if it's just a cameo |
