Hard to believe that it was 10 years ago that the Rockies and Diamondbacks faced each other for the National League pennant; with the Rockies winning in a four-game sweep. It's been a while since both teams tasted the postseason; this is the Rockies' first appearance since 2009, while the D-Backs are in for the first time since 2011. The acquisition of J.D. Martinez skyrocketed Arizona to a Wild Card position, though the Dodgers' winning tear kept them out of the NL West race. The Rockies were the last team to clinch, earning their spot on Saturday with a Brewers loss. Rockies should win; the D-Backs lineup is severely shorthanded, and Colorado hits HRs left and right.
Prediction: Rockies by 5

This seems to be a pretty good matchup, and a shame that it's just a "play-in" because this would've been a good series. I'll pick Arizona since they have home field advantage.

Those 2 run triples really broke the Rockies backs.
But give Colorado some credit for fighting back.
Arizona will face the Dodgers--should be an interesting series.
