Please keep in mind that this podcast dropped hours before the Kansas City shooting after the two time defending champion Chiefs held their parade and rally at Union Station.

This time, the tables were turned.
Amy asked T.J. lots of really thought provoking questions.

How would you describe to someone who really doesn't know you?
Favorite childhood memory growing up.
Very ironic--T.J. and Elvis share something in common  (you will hear a bit of that response in the 7th minute.)
What do you miss about your life before the tabloid pictures?
Would you go back to your old job, if you could?
Amy said after she consulted with T.J. first, and a few of her close friends still in the business.
The hardest situation he never had to make.
What would you tell a 22 year old T.J. Holmes getting out of college--Amy said this kind of "an interview-type question".

Age wise, T.J. was in junior high school when Amy was a freshman at the University of Georgia in 1991.

The 19th minute is too hard to believe and will spark many questions in your mind, certainly did with me.
His most annoying habit
When did you fall in love with me? Somewhere between spring/summer 2022 was when he started having feels about Amy (mostly when the red light turned off at 2 p.m. Eastern time every weekday.)

Lightning round questions:
All-time favorite movie
Song that will get you up on the dance floor
What trip he enjoyed the most
Country he wants to visit
Favorite color, they both share the same color :D
Favorite holiday
Celebrity crush, "there are so many."
Favorite interview of all-time, no surprise he was one of the last times anyone got the chance to pick the range of several emotions shared by one of the greatest game show hosts of all time in Alex Trebek
He likes answering questions better than asking. "You always to some degree have to be mindful of what things come out of your mouth."

Overall, revealing interviews by these two former longtime and popular anchors (especially with Amy here on these boards.)

I will try to update only on topics worth sharing, unless if it is something depressing or interviews with reality TV stars--of which those stories I cannot stand.
Remember, subscribe, rate, and review--5 stars is preferred. ;)

This episode had Amy dealing with a sad time with her 17 year daughter Ava having to fly overseas to Germany for spring recess. This marks the first time she was flying alone, since her sister is studying abroad--so it was a chance for them to reunite.
The big problem was--she forgot her passport  .

But somehow, a few calls here and there with the airline, a long traffic ride back to Manhattan and everything went fine from there. Bottom line, she made it safely to Berlin.

They then talked about what Valentine's Day meant to them. T.J. "it's sweet, it's fun, it's cute", especially those ladies who get all of the sweets and heart shaped balloons at work.

On the next episode, they will talk about binging about the show Vanderpump Rules. They are planning to have a guest that starred in that show.

Just to say FYI, I have not seen the show and never will.
Even with T.J. remarking that people have been shouting their names from half a block away, so it's nice that in Amy's words, "Kindness matters."

So the next talk I am talk about on the pod is whenever they deal with "normal" subjects--so just keep those positive comments coming on Apple Podcasts, five star reviews as always.

Tuesday's episode was all about their love of running, and the certain pitfalls that women have to face:

I guess for this episode can be safely labeled as Too Many Laughs With Our BFF. :D

The real title from Wednesday was "Three Best Friends".
Meet Nikki Espina, a true extrovert who became viral living in the smallest apartment in NYC. She has stories about running into Ginger Zee, Sara Haines, Amy herself, and a few others.

Way too many laughs to describe, so have this on when you are doing your weekend duties:

It's workout time with one of Amy's favorite Peloton fitness instructors named Marty Maggiacomo.
His story is really fascinating, but it is around 70 minutes in length if you include their ad breaks.

Enjoy:

Monday's episode is less than 40 minutes, but this time Amy tries to convince T.J. about his health issues.

A few other random topics came up, including T.J.'s love of all thing March Madness with the NCAA Tournament and the announcement of them doing a live podcast in New York (someone DM Dr. Jennifer Ashton about this so she can be a guest on their show.)

Enjoy here or find the Amy and T.J. Podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts:

Finally, a topic worth sharing as Amy and T.J. returned to familiar territory as they both were on yellow carpet as they attended the annual iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Here was the latest podcasts worth checking out.

April 4, AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys talked a lot of topics from his family life and the future of the band.

April 10, a different doctor by the name of Dr. Darria of TikTok fame talking different medical topics. Plus, why you shouldn't be using WebMD (of which I never really understood why people used the site when it first started out.)

Hopefully someday we will hope to hear Dr. Jen as a guest. But I guess that's wishful thinking.
Enjoy the pods.

If continued lack of listenership persists, it usually boils down to what reviews are left on Apple and Spotfy. Also something to considering is their overall place in the algorithm:
What are the general demographics (male/female), age range, which country, and what podcast provider are usual factors.

Also, their moods seem to be less upbeat compared to when they were on GMA3. But that's just my general view after listening to some of their podcasts.

Hope that makes sense.

Finally some very relevant and timely news they discussed--albeit it is labeled as a mini-pod (no more than 35 minutes in general.)

They discussed T.J. briefly feeling the earthquake last Friday (April 5) and how they saw the solar eclipse on Monday (Amy said "it got really cold"--average of 20 degrees colder), and an international flight that Amy is afraid of boarding.

Well, I hope that means one thing--there won't be as many podcasts in the hopper. That is, unless they recorded a bunch while T.J. was busy watching the NCAA Tournament.

Get this--Amy actually is watching more sports that her beloved Georgia Bulldogs. She watches "because I am interested in the commentators."

I hope she likes what she has been viewing. Of course, T.J. had to close things out that the NBA playoffs will soon be starting--having four games in the first two weekends that will dominate the national landscape.

A surprise pod (the third one of the week) packed a lot of juicy bits in less than 40 minutes.

First off the top, Amy and T.J. did an ad read--a discount if you sign up for Target Circle. They sound so amazing together in that type of setup. ;)

This pod led off with a brief recap of Amy seeing her daughter for 4 days and 3 nights in Berlin. T.J. complained why he was unable to reach her, but Amy said that "it was time to turn the phone off" and spend quality time together.

However, the really fun news came from the 20th to the 26th minute--as Amy hinted about them possibly getting married :Tasty , or at least living together. Outside of that testy exchange, their producer Andy brought up a list of 11 things how a prospective couple may have their relationship fall apart. Amy flat out mentioned a few things and T.J. was riding the fence on a few other points.

But even during their times as colleagues working at ABC News, when one was on vacation and they eventually returned together--Amy noted how "awkward" it was. We all remember the little teases every now and then, especially when Amy was overseas to cover the wedding of the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle in the U.K., and when they both were in Los Angeles during Oscars Week (one of them showed a very elaborate backdrop with the Hollywood sign at one of the really expensive hotels.) Another time in October 2022 saw them in Phoenix covering the Arizona gubernatorial races.

To peel back the onion layers, it appears that they will be on vacation (thankfully, they didn't mention they were going for obvious reasons in this age of social media dominating most of our lives) as T.J. best said, "Don't put us up to it."

If it is the last podcast for a while, I guess life is fine. Hopefully, by the time they return--let us see if we can kindly ask during the first half of May to suggest having Dr. Jen Ashton as a guest, as she will be ending her 13 year run with ABC on July 1. I think it would be great to hear some behind-the-scenes scoops when the cameras weren't rolling, and maybe what Dr. Jen was thinking when that report came out about the alleged affair with Amy and T.J. being spotted inside that one New York City suburban restaurant, plus the news when they were officially fired while they were soaking up some rays at one of the many beaches in Los Angeles.

More power to Amy if they want to travel. If they manage to record podcasts from other countries, all I know is that they use different electrical outlet. Meaning, you would have to purchase some type of converter to connect a phone charger, hair dryer, or clock radio to make it work--especially in Europe.
