I like to see longevity as doing the same gig for a long time, yet maintaining a high level of consistency and being able to keep it fresh, or being able to do different roles over the years and still excel at them.

For example, for the former, Ginger Zee has been ABC's chief meteorologist for a decade and has been consistently gorgeous throughout. Lauren Shehadi showing her great pins on MLB for a decade week in week out. Rachel Riley being on Countdown straight out of university at 23 to now at 37 14 years later, still going strong. It's never boring. She always manages to bring out a new dimension.

Natalie Morales is a case of the latter. She's done stints at NBC, Today, Access and now back at CBS, yet still been among the most beautiful, demonstrating her longevity and versatility.

What are your examples?

I have to give Maria Shriver a shoutout. She was on NBC News for nearly 20 years while married to the biggest movie star around that time
in Arnold. She took hiatus because he was governor of California but she did come back and is still with NBC in some capacity. Also, HLN had Robin Meade for 21 years and Susan Hendricks for nearly 20 years with three different stints. Christi Paul for 19 years though I think she still would have been safe if she continued with CNN. Also, the Weather Channel has Jen Carfagno (25 years), Stephanie Abrams (20 years), and Alex Wilson (10 years) celebrating anniversaries this year.

Kelly Cass has been at TWC for 23 years. Dylan Dreyer has done her gig at NBC for 11 years.

Hannah Storm has been on a national network since 1989 and started at ESPN in 2008 along with Nicole Briscoe (then Manske). Chris McKendry is still on ESPN doing tennis coverage. Pam Oliver has patrolled the sidelines for over 20 years. Erin Andrews has done it for nearly that long. Jen Hale has done it 10 years. All three with Fox Sports though Andrews also did it for ESPN and TBS maybe.

Courtney Friel got started on a national level with World Poker Tour around 2004, she later joined Fox News in 2007 and became much popular on the network. She later joined FOX11 in 2012 for reporting Hollywood movies and more. She's been at KTLA for 10 years now. She used to be a weekend anchor in the past, now she's doing nightly newscast on Thursdays and Fridays.

Christine Romans was with CNN for 24 years covering financial news and being a Morning anchor and going to NBC News. Also, wanted to point out from my previous post that Christi Paul is still anchoring in Cleveland.

Brianna Keilar has been with Cnn since 2006. Considering that she’s not yet 43, that is a long time.

Speaking of Christine Romans, Poppy Harlow (another financial anchor turned Morning Anchor) has been with CNN since 2008.
