Seventy years ago today, WLVA (now WSET) signed on the air. I'm sure during tonight's news broadcasts there will be several alumni joining in. I wonder if Charlie Gibson might make an appearance.

Here's another cool video. Jeff Taylor seen in this video was the lead anchor during much of the 80's. He came back tonight, along with Dennis Carter, former sports director. This video ends with a rather famous story of a murder trial that took place in my area.
