She could start bemoaning cancel culture & make a move hard right, kind of like Lara Logan. Don't think she could catch on at Fox, but maybe Newsmax. Either could possibly land at Newsnation, which seems to be the place now for those who can't get a national gig anywhere else. If Chris Cuomo could be back on the air as quick as he was I think just about anyone can.

I could see her going to Newsnation (TJ not so much but who knows). They have picked up Cuomo, Banfield, and Elizabeth Vargas. I'll still waiting for Newsnation to hire Robin Meade for a morning show.

They would appear to have some solid legal ground to stand on if they wanted to fight this and get a better settlement and/or sue down the line:

1) Why did the president of ABC News say they had not broken any policy and would not be disciplined?
2) Why did ABC put them on the air the day after the affair became public?

ABC felt, especially with Robin Roberts voicing her displeasure over this scandal that it was time to cut ties.

Overall, I felt the direction of the show was stuck in the middle. Even with the lighthearted, humorous banter of their last episode on December 2, 2022--one has to wonder...did they stick around a few shows too long?

I guess we will never know, because we don't know anyone who works at ABC Headquarters in New York.

If there was any doubt at all that Amy and TJ are gone for good, I'm watching GMA3 right now. The intro didn't include "with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes" and Rhiannon and DeMarco didn't say anything about being in for them for the first time. It's the end of an era that included some of the best legs ever seen on television.

Very surprised we did not hear in the intro, "DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally with Dr. Jen Ashton and What You Need to Know."

They probably wouldn't say that unless they were the permanent hosts. I read somewhere, could have been a tabloid so take that with a grain of salt, that ABC is going to rotate hosts in and out until they make a decision. bigzman you said something that's logical, that no changes would happen until the end of May sweeps. Personally I say go with Rhiannon and DeMarco, they have good chemistry and she's gorgeous even if she doesn't wear short skirts and dresses like Amy did.

Rumored the duo are going to NewsNation.

I rather NewsNation hire Robin Meade though would she go back to Chicago?

The ratings for NewsNation have hit lows that are nearly on par with HLN shortly after Robin Meade's Morning Express ended after 21 plus years.

I thought Robin has made it crystal clear many times that she isn't moving out of Atlanta? Am I wrong on this?

I think you're right about no one will watch or care about Amy or TJ if they go to NewsNation. I've said before that Amy is skilled journalist with years of exposure and experience. I can't see her going to a second-rate network like NewsNation, or Newsmax or OAN for that matter. I think she'll wait it out until the controversy blows over when major networks will probably try to sign her.

TJ will be a different story. He was never a big name like Amy and will have to take what he can get. It doesn't help him that he's had two prior affairs.

Newsnation could start a daily show similar to outnumbered, but call it "Outcasts" They already have Chris Cuomo & Ashleigh Banfield, they bring in Amy & TJ, then just have a rotating 5th person (Megan Kelly, Kiran Chetry, Bill O Reilly, Matt Lauer, etc...) They could call that seat The Daily Dunce.

Would she have much of a choice than NewsNation? She already worked at NBC, unsure about CBS. CNN maybe because their new morning show. I can see Don Lemon getting the boot and maybe Kaitian Collins going back to DC and they bring in Amy and another guy unless CNN wants to have all female lineup. However, how did things end with TJ at CNN? I did see somewhere that a producer from ABC who was fired there after his own scandal is at NewsNation so I do see them getting a shot at redemption there.

Maybe but if she wants to return to TV where are the opportunities in Atlanta? Local stations yes but she wants to go back to a National Station, there's not many (if any) opportunities in Atlanta. Plus, both Robin and her husband is from Ohio and do they consider moving to be closer to family like Christi Paul did?
