Colleen Wolfe probably has the advantage because she hosted the weekend show. Kimmi Chex is in consideration, possibly Jane Slater unless she wants to stay in Dallas. Of course, there's the out of the house options.

Going to miss her but I hope the reports of her going to Amazon Prime for the weekly game are true. It's amazing to have so many women who know a thing or two about sports on NFL Network and the other sports networks.

My money is on Jane Slater, currently a reporter mostly Dallas Cowboys stuff. She's a perfect replacement for GMFB.

When Kay worked for NBCSN and sometimes hosted Sports Dash instead of Carolyn Manno, she dressed to the nines... now she is just "blah"

I find her kind of blah as well but to be fair I give a pass to those early morning women, it’s got to be doubly tough to look good at 4 AM or whenever they get up

In fairness, the guys on GMFB also dressed down. The show is not NFL:AM where Nicole Zaloumis, Molly, Michelle Buck, and Nicole's replacement dress to the nines by 3 AM west coast time (probably soon than that really) and the guys wear suits and ties. Personally, I do agree with you. I prefer to see women dressing up covering sports in the studio than wearing T-Shirts and jeans but I understand for shows like GMFB and Out of Pocket on the SEC Network.

What about when they weren't even in studio and we had like Brady Bunch boxes on the screen for some of the shows? That is something I hope we don't see anymore even if Covid19 comes back with a huge surge like they keep warning us about on the news networks.

Well GMFB at least for Monday and possibly this week did do the Brady Bunch boxes (Jane Slater is co-hosting from her place). I can understand if the talent is at home then you just have to wear a nice top and that's it (depending on the show).

I hope that doesn't last because going all dudes is what killed SportsNation in its first run even though Michelle Beadle came back and Cari Champion was a host for a time.

That will be a big free-agent signing. I believe she would work well with the guys. Probably wished they got it to Rachel and Colleen especially Colleen since she hosted the weekend version.

Presuming the COVID protocols may return again in the fall (since the virus breeds indoors), will Jamie have to host from her home like Kay Adams did since the onset of this being the worst pandemic of our lives? Or is it jet setting to L.A. to join everyone at NFL Network headquarters?

Awful Announcing had this article on their website:

The big takeaway is that GMFB tapes their show in New York, not Los Angeles where Gameday and other related shows air.

Hope that answers one question that I was a bit confused on prior to the official announcement.

Also, I wish the NFL network at least gave a look at Jaymee Sire. She's living in New York and she could do a cooking segment on tailgating entrees.
