Change 1: The selected video (s) now have to play on VLC Player. Depending on how old the video is, the playback can range from mediocre to God-awful, visually and aurally.
Change 2: If you select a playlist or mix, the videos do not play consecutive anymore, you have to pick the videos individually.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kbnZgQpslGgI didn't try Change 2, but had no issues playing your link above with Youtube app at 1080p on my phone, after manually changing the video clarity from the "auto" setting of 360 to 1080p manually... Didn't need the VLC player.
