It looks like they're going to have a new showrunner in Rob Silverstein from Access Hollywood when People Magazine TV premieres this fall. No word on who'll host the show. My guesses are Jaymee Sire, Nancy O'Dell, and Catt Sadler as possible new host. http://deadline.com/2020/05/access-hollywood-rob-silverstein-showrunner-merediths-people-magazine-syndicated-series-1202937397/ |

The late Phyllis George appeared in the first iteration shortly after leaving The NFL Today in 1978. Her time on the show was short, after divorcing Robert Evans and later marrying KFC billionaire turned Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown in 1979. |

But hopefully, with a name like either O'Dell or Sadler, it won't be another "USA Today" (and yes, I was among the nine people who remember their failed attempt at a TV show). |

That show had a big map of the USA on the floor with the host, Edie Magnus, standing in front of it and showing off her terrific legs

And if those two are unavailable...Kristine Leahy, perhaps??? (who's been itching to get back to daily television after her FS1 show Fair Game ended earlier this year)) |

ESPN hired Ashley Brewer and I doubt they would have her look-alike in Kristine. Maybe the NFL Network might. |

GOOD NEWS: New hosts have been named for the daily People TV show. BAD NEWS: It's neither Nancy O'Dell, Catt Sadler, or even Kristine Leahy as speculated. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/kay-adams-and-lawrence-k-jackson-named-co-hosts-of-new-people-daily-tv-show-301118939.html |

It's Kay Adams from Good Morning Football or GMFB and Lawrence K. Jackson from TRL. They'll be hosting the new show beginning September 14. |

Can Kay do both shows? I feel like she's going to have to make a choice between one or the another. |

And it’ll be only on Meredith-owned stations in Phoenix, Atlanta, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and others, so either of the three I mentioned will likely be saved for when the larger markets (New York, L.A., Chicago, etc.) pick it up. |

According to Stephanie Bauer, she's going to be involved in the show. |

They add Stephanie Bauer who used to be on Extra for the show? Didn't know. People (TV show) keep adding some folks that used to be on Access Hollywood back in those days. If only they add Nancy O'Dell and/or Shaun Robinson, that would be huge in ratings. |
