Congrats to her. I think the next female to join is either Abrams or Jen. Maybe both, who knows. We don't know who will be in the class of 2020. |

You meant to say 2021. Add also Kelly Cass to the list. newsguy wrote: Congrats to her. I think the next female to join is either Abrams or Jen. Maybe both, who knows. We don't know who will be in the class of 2020.

We don't know who will be in the class of 2020. Not really, they introduce Ginger as CLASS OF 2019. They don't have a CLASS OF 2020 (yet). I'm sure there's a number of people they could consider for a number of years (unless they expand their Hall of Fame from 3 per year) including Kelly, Steph, and Jen. Not only on the national level but people who been on local TV stations for say 30-40 years. |

Unlike the early days of television, there aren't as many meteorologists staying in one place--lots of job hopping out there. |

What about Al "I'm not a meteorologist but I play one on TV" Roker?

I'm biased, but I'd like to see WPVI's Cecily Tynan inducted. She started her career near me at WDBJ7 in Roanoke, VA. And while we're at it, how about her mentor WDBJ7's Robin Reed. Robin started is career in 1979, and has been with WDBJ since 1982. ![]() ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Reed_(meteorologist) |
