Never been a Matt Lauer fan...but something is NOT right here. No allegations in over 20 years, and the FIRST time he does "something" people THINK there MAY BE a pattern? Ummm...no. Just no. |

We've discussed him in chat for years. Stories of him sleeping with Natalie at the 2014 winter Olympics plus him messing around with other women at NBC. Not surprised at his firing. |

Given his status at the company and the swiftness with which they pulled the trigger - I mean Savannah says she didn't even know until a few minutes before going on the air - there must have been some pretty damning proof. |

What are the chances for a few Meredith turns for fill in As co host?, you think they'll bring her for a sub? I hope they hire her back temp what do you guys think? Plus the best legs to watch cause she exposes them so well and she knows what's she doing to us!! |

However, she is not--and I repeat not ready to come forward--but she might someday, you never know: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/29/business/media/nbc-matt-lauer.html Again, considering the culture today--this news hardly surprises me even with all of the past allegations while being on assignment in 11 Olympic Games. Of course, there will be a whole slew of candidates ready and willing to take over--Sunday Today host Willie Geist pinch hit for Matt many times over the last few years, and of course we all know about Meredith Vieira. But let's face it, Meredith and former "perky" host Katie Couric are getting older. Is someone thinking that maybe fresher blood that is currently down the Comcast pipeline could be in the offering come 2018? |

Read somewhere else that this is just the tip of the iceberg at NBC. There are more. They have had rumors about difficulty working with women back as far as Jane Pauley. What remains to be seen is how many can be proven credible. All of these sudden revelations of harassment by so called powerful men are going to attract their hangers on for the attention. Being said, glad he's gone for whatever reason or outcome.
