It will not be called SportsCenter AM anymore--at least on the main channel.

Mike Greenberg's new weekday morning show will be titled, Get Up.

It will air weekdays on ESPN 7 to 10 a.m. Eastern time and simulcast on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

Greeny spoke with Teddy Greenstein, golf and college football reporter for the Chicago Tribune to briefly discuss the new show (which will not debut until sometime in the spring due to the construction delays at Chelsea Pier in New York), and how they were able to lure away Michelle Beadle and Jalen Rose from their NBA Countdown duties 3,000 miles away in Los Angeles:

Actually, SportsCenter AM is moving to ESPN2 in January 2018. Will they have same trio of Jay Harris, Sage Steele, and Randy Scott? Possibly true.

That is a very good question. At least, SC:AM will still be around.

Greeny's show will be replayed on ESPN2 weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern time, that much I know.

And I said also in a prior thread, once Ginger Zee returns from her second maternity leave will be around the time the new show will begin. Look for her to possibly do some weather hits on key outdoor sporting events inbetween her regular scheduled times at GMA, with ABC and ESPN still as Disney corporate cousins.

So what's going to happen to daytime and evening hosts of SportsCenter? Should they shuffle the anchor lineup after layoffs?

We should know a lot more after Thanksgiving when the third round of 100 plus layoffs takes place.

The old Mike & Mike era is done:

At the very least, Disney will be constructing a playground in the guys' honor ;) --location TBD.

For those of us longing for the glory days--long live the over 2,400,000 YouTube clips.

At least, Greeny's new ESPN show is slated to start on April 2, 2018. More details later when they are confirmed.
