So far, very little to talk about. Most people I know are thinking she is not connecting to her audience. I think that the ratings will prove if the show turns out to be a disaster. Thoughts about the first week? |

Poor Megyn just didn't catch many breaks her first week out. Pissed off the Will & Grace cast, got Fonda upset with her, less than ideal critics reviews, and topped it off with a clumsy cameraman who stumbles into the shot during the Carli Lloyd interview, as his cursing and fuming at himself gets heard live on the air.... Does NBC inform their camerapeople that there happen to be microphones also in the studio, too? . |

I've checked out the show for MK leggage but there has been none at least so far. But I'm not feelin' the love, so to speak for the show itself. Megyn may be out of her element with the show's format. I guess time will tell. It's not uncommon for talk show hosts to start out slow. I remember Jimmy Fallon seemed like a nervous wreck his first year. |

She overplayed her hand so to speak. I think she got full of herself. Hired a new PR firm to rep her and told FOX to get lost. She got paid but grass isn't always greener. Just add her to the list of anchors who switched networks and never connected with their new shows on the other channel. She was good at political talk. Way out of her element trying to be funny and clever with actors and actresses. |

Let's face it, she doesn't have the personality to host a morning show. |

I agree. So far, it looks like the show is mostly going nowhere. |

so she can not have her own voice and opinion on things she wants to point out. not sure if people still thinks she still caring the old fox fair and balance style of telling story's. since think its not her being her self. we have right to voice our own opinions people. not sure you have to be SO PC NOW A DAYS. |

She isn't the happy go lucky, cheery morning type so when she gets to NBC and does that she seems fake to some and then the bigger problem is everyone already watching Today is a certain type of audience and they don't want a Foxnews cast off in their eyes coming to their channel doing a show...the audience already built in didn't want her and most of the audience she left a Foxnews (me included) really there's no way quit watching Foxnews jut to follow her over to NBC...so she really has NO audience..not any built in or anything just starting or trying to start from scratch. |

Sorry but her show is unwatchable. They are trying to repackage her into something she is not. She is Not Kelly Ripa, she is a hard journalist. Also wtf is this No Politics rule on her show? It seems like nbc got her just to neuter her. Hope she enjoys the money when the buyout comes. The ? is where is her next landing spot. Would cnn give her a primetime slot after a very public bombing? Does she go to neverseenorheardfromland like Katie Couric did at yahoo? Does she take time on nbc's dime to write books before coming back to tv? I dont blame her for leaving fox with the money thrown at her & after the Ailes scandal. But there is a price with that money. |

One week into the show and she's not been given a chance, but judged and sentenced and all this by people that NBC isn't even targeting. You would think leaving the Fox Mother Ship might have automatically condemned her or something.

NicK!'s last point was spot on: whatever happens after NBC, Megan will be a rich woman, happily married with three beautiful children. That being said, here are my two rusty pennies: When she went solo on "America Live" (daytime) and "The Kelly File" (nighttime) my perception of her was that she was the no-nonsesne, no BS reporter who was never afraid to ask the hard questions to ANYBODY on either side of the aisle. Maybe this is stretching it, but I had hoped she would be this generation's David Frost. (pausing to let everybody laugh) IMHO, things went south starting with the RNC debates against Trump, then the Roger Ailes scandal. She could've done without that softball interview to Michael Moore (WTF? Is he Cookie Monster or Fat Albert, Megan?) The Sunday night shows could have been handled MUCH better by all involved. She should have been assigned to the "hard news" part of Today, preferably after KLG and Hoda. 6a-9a, regular show, 10-11 KLG & Hoda, the Megan at 11-noon. But that's just me...not like I'm a network executive or anything. I just miss seeing her legs on a regular basis. |

Bottom line from LongJohnScotty..."My perception of her was that she was the no-nonsesne, no BS reporter who was never afraid to ask the hard questions to ANYBODY on either side of the aisle." Well said LongJohnScotty because that is where Megyn belongs and if she does not gear her show in that direction, it will fail unless she displays her legs a hell of a lot more. |

Megyn never has been comfortable with the light stuff The only time she didn't seem awkward with the light stuff was when she was doing AN and had Hemmer to play off of As for Hemmer, now he's paired with Sandra Smith All of his co-anchors go on to bigger and better things I thought Hemmer helped Megyn a lot and brought out her softer side |
