Andrea Tantaros Court Proceedings Update

Long story, short - Andrea's lawyer filed her complaint and requested a full court hearing (with a jury or a judge) but Fox argued that Andrea's contract stated that such disputes should go to arbitration and Fox won that argument and the Judge ordered both sides to arbitrate an agreement. Andrea's lawyer filed with an appeals court to contest that ruling so that's where things stand.

I'm no lawyer by any stretch but I have a feeling this is going to end up in arbitration with both sides having to hammer out an agreed settlement. Andrea won't walk away from this empty handed but it's not going to be the 25 million (or whatever the figure was) that she was originally seeking.

If it goes to arbitration everything will be done in private so we might never know the outcome and especially not how much Andrea gets. Arbitration s*cks for somebody who wants to take on a company.

And with her shutting off most, if not all contact with social media--both points are well taken. We may never know unless she breaks her silence sometime down the road.

If she loses her appeal, will she get the same offer or a lesser one?
I would guess the latter

She turned down the settlement offer so there will be no going back to that. If she loses her appeal it will go back to arbitration and her position will be weakened. I've been in a similar situation. She took a risk but her lawyer must think she has a good case to take that tack or the settlement offer was ridiculously low.

so in other words they want to settle this hard way. since she did not want first settlement offer. fox is making go this route. so fox does not want to fight this in court and wants lose as little as possible. also by not making this public scene. so want quietly close this case. this sucks. since more worried about there public image then doing right thing.

I agree no woman should be sexually harassed, but 25 million! Hurray for the tort lawyers they are the ones that cash in.

Typically lawyers get 1/3 in cases like this. Still leaves 16 million for the plaintiff. :Victory

She should get at least as much cash, but probably doesn't have near the evidence that Carlson had....... Take a few million and marry a sugar daddy....... or maybe pose for playboy now that they stopped their no nudity nonsense....

Who knows regarding any Playboy posing aspirations? Ask Cooper Hefner sometime on social media, hopefully he could snag Andrea before it gets too late.

If she makes it out of this even 10 million $ better off, never mind 15 or 20, she won't need
to seek out some wealthy dude to cater to her.

She could easily wind up becoming a "sugar momma" sooner or later.

reason why this big deal is over this. fox news want this go quietly and not make huge news story. they all ready did one with Gretchen and it was public news and mess for station at time. also with fact we have major event going on in usa they where able to get people not recall or think about deal they made with Gretchen. since nothing to big for them bring up to cover up issue with Andrea Tantaros. they want this go quietly

I don't know how all this works - that is, if they combine all these lawsuits into one or if they have to go to court for all 3. Either way Andrea will be living in that courtroom for the foreseeable future.
