 Post subject: why is Foxnews channel still show show not hd.

i have new 4k tv and had 1080p tv and still see most of their show not in full hd or basic hd.

I wonder if 720p just looks bad on your TV. All cable and broadcast channels broadcast in 720p or 1080i. The only TV channels I know of that have 1080p are the DirecTV Pay Per View channels. DirecTV has one channel that broadcasts in 4K (channel 106).

i have brand new 49 inch philips 4k smart thin tv. and i can tell its not in not true 1080p hd.

I don't have a 4K TV but I'd imagine it's equivalent to watching a 360p YouTube video on a 1080p monitor, i.e. it'll look like crap due to the up-res'ing. Since FNC is broadcast in only 720p, I would assume it'll look especially bad on a 4K TV.

yes it does on both 1080p and 4k too. i notice a lot. you would thought for company like that would want to have their show at highest hd they could do.
