Post subject:  Lara Spencer's upcoming surgery
Just saw on CMA that Lara Spencer is having hip replacement surgery. She's only 47 but it's been interfering with her life and since for her it's congenital, she basically said surgery was just a matter of time. Lara seemed to be fighting back tears as she disclosed the whole thing to viewers but kept her humor while talking about it with the others at GMA. Best wishes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery!

I just saw the video from GMA on Twitter. Indeed, she is extremely young to be having such a surgery. But as the x-ray showed, her hip is literally bone on bone. Probably from decades of being so active. Hopefully the surgery will be a success and help ease her pain.

Wow, sure hope everything goes well with the surgery.
Lots of prayers and good thoughts going out East for hopefully a full and safe recovery.

Best of get well wishes for Lara. From all I hear from people who have had it done its almost fool proof anymore and hope that's the case.
