Let's face it, every woman on that staff would prefer to wear flip flops, capris, not shave their legs and be pretty much soused every day they went on the air, giving a middle finger to losers who watch them for the legs. The female anchors can't get us fired because we talk about them and bring in ratings, so they tolerate us; but for the most part we are creepy to every woman there.
That's quite a broad generalization you're making there, karaoke.
I think it's worth considering just how much many female air talent --
not just Fox ladies, either -- play up their appearance in ways that don't involve the shows they're on.
Many of them carry over their on-air personas into social media. I seriously doubt that
whenever one of them posts photos of themselves showing leg, suntanning on the beach,
or attending a party in a revealing dress, that they were forced to do so by someone
in management at whatever network or station they work for.
No, not all of them do it - but as we all know, there's quite a few who
use Instagram and Twitter for just that purpose. They clearly have no problem highlighting
their physique there, and then getting direct interactive compliments on their appearance
from users -- something they wouldn't deal with when they're on television. If they open
themselves up that much, even when they don't "have to", then you can conclude that they're not having a problem with it,
and sometimes even enjoy the attention. Otherwise, what explains it?
