Sad if they turn into low ratings CNN.

You'll know the answer if desks and tables suddenly spring up on Fox shows

Not if they realize that it's part of the formula that's won for them
all this time.

And to some extent, CNN uses it too.

I'm pretty sure that you can have a network that plays up
feminine attributes without the workplace being loaded with harassment
and degrading talk and threats from management. In other words, they could've
done all of this completely without Ailes or any other slime that may have
acted that way -- it wasn't necessary to begin with.

Good or bad, its all part of the ratings game. FOX being so good at it they were just the 1st ones to get called on it.

FNC and FBN for election coverage and special events, have always had changed the set up for some of the shows and have them behind a big desk. Then after the event they go back to the regular set up for the shows. When the UK was having the vote about leaving the EU, several of the shows changed to having them behind big desk. FBN AM was one of them.

I think that has to do more with probably planning on being outside (as they were covering the RNC) but moving inside because it's so hot and humid.

There was a male CNN reporter out covering some demonstration outside and his shirt was wringing wet.

Plus at the DNC they're in a parking lot with a lot of other tents
At the RNC they had a set on top of the convention center
I just have a funny feeling Fox is treated differently by the DNC than the RNC ;)
Of course, if I ran the DNC Sean Hannity would NEVER be issued a credential

Of course it's Kilmeade who brings up the lack of legs with the desk at the very beginning of the show but the good news is it does sound temporary. That makes me think they have been getting endless tweets about it. :jetserl

Its so hilarious to me...I guess it shows that they are aware of...eh shall we say some of the benefits of watching the network.

On F&FF Heather C and Abby stayed behind the desk and didn't even do a stand-up :Bang
Heather was at a desk on AN, too
But it was back to the curvy couch on F&F and HN has been at its normal set all week :Kool

I hope things get back to normal; but I see more legs on CNN now than Fox?

interesting that she said they "get to wear pants" with that desk, implying normally they don't?

Ainsley had a famous quote a few years ago
When Kilmeade asked her if she wears pants she said:
"At home, but Fox likes us to be feminine so we don't wear pants."
