Now that Ainsley Earhardt is moving to F&F, there is a vacancy on F&FF Judging from who filled in for Ainsley while she has been on maternity leave, the top candidates appear to be: Lea Gabrielle Abby Huntsman Heather Nauert I doubt it will be Heather, since she has her F&F duties I think it's gotta be Lea

I think Abby gets the gig. I realize she's newest to the stable, but she seems to be more comfortable, or maybe it's more natural, in the job than Lea does. I think Heather stays put reading the news on F&F. I think we all win no matter which way it goes, unless someone who misses out decides to change networks or careers. |

Lea: because she's been filling in for Ainsley almost as much as Abby. Also...NAVAL. AVIATOR. Heather Nauert: One of the original core four/plank owners of F&FF; also splitting time between subbing for Ainsley and news reader for F&F. Also, been around a while. Patty Ann Browne: Also one of the F&FF core four/plank owners. Been around almost as long as Heather (say it with me y'all: SENIORITY!). Also, because GET HER OFF THE BENCH ALREADY!!! Juliet Huddy: Not really gonna happen because she already has a gig at Good Day New York, but I really miss her and the thought of those lovely stems trapped behind a desk breaks my cheatin'heart. Laurie Dhue: Pulling a major toke on the hooka pipe and throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks at this point, but...hey, why not? Also: FNC must have an stellar pay and benefits package to work there, and everyone (especially the ladies) have to be really good friends or the ability to be team players or Master Chief armor from Halo-type thick skin to put up with the hosting musical chairs game. You don't think there's a little bit of ego-bruising/envy/jealousy when this stuff goes on? IMHO, this is why Alysin and Kiran are long gone from FNC. Just my two pennies on this cold February morning. |

I would love for it to be PAB, since she's my all-time favorite. However, I don't think it's gonna happen, since she really didn't like the very early morning hours with they first started F&FF. But that was back when her kid was younger, and now that he's bigger, she may have a change of heart. XXX <= fingers, legs and toes crossed!!!! If not her, I kinda like the new kid on the block, Abby Huntsman. Very pleasant to view and listen to....
