Yup... CNN has a bad habit of covering the screen with obnoxiously oversized graphics, as if they think countdown clocks or a video on a 10 second loop in the bottom corner is helpful or informative to us (no, CNN, it's not!). They're live stream on .com however does away with most of the graphics (including the ticker at the bottom) so I don't understand why they wouldn't do the same on TV.

Send your complaints to [email protected] As much of an f_ up that Zucker is, I doubt he's going to take a complaint about Brooke's legs seriously. He wanted to get her closer to the action, and have better access to the guests and talking heads in person, which only meant bringing her to New York. In that sense, it was good for her. The real problem is that she got shoved into the cramped studio space she's in now, after having the cavernous area she did in Atlanta... it makes her show seem smaller overall, which does her no favors at all. I've said this before, and I can't figure out why this couldn't be done -- Let Brooke use the New Day studio, because they could use the hours while Carol and Ashleigh are on to reconfigure it to Brooke's needs in the afternoon, OR let her use Erin Burnett's studio, and they could do the same since there's time to reconfigure it between the time Brooke ends and Erin starts... not rocket science at all. And that way, Brooke gets plenty of "legroom" like she used to have back in ATL. . |

It doesn't hurt to annoy the guy. Will he read it (or even his aides) maybe? Will he listen again maybe? Will anything change probably not but who knows? Doesn't hurt it try? Or email Brooke and tell her to go to Fox News. |

I don't have CNN International, but I believe Studio 71 (the New Day set) is in use during Brooke's show. As far as I know, the Communications Center (old American Morning studio) isn't and I've been hoping they'd renovate it for Brooke, Carol and Ashleigh... but so far, nothing. According to that article, Ailes tried to sign her in 2010. Things change unsure if she didn't want to move to New York at the time, now she is in New York and if I recall don't anchors have two or three year contracts. Just saying. However, it does sound like she does enjoy her time in New York and I don't think she cares about the studio and her position on the set. Plus isn't all about the money otherwise HLN would be well just another channel and who knows where Lynn, Christi, and others would be if Robin took the money and moved to the NYC. |
