| Post subject: | New TV Shows |
I just took a look at the new TV schedules, since new shows start premiering next week. These are what caught my eye, based on the actresses whose names I recognized. It's not a complete list of all new shows or of all actresses on these shows. Please do add more shows/names. Blood And Oil - ABC - SUN - 9 PM - Amber Valletta Quantico - ABC - SUN - 10 PM - Priyanka Chopra Minority Report - FOX - MON - 9 PM - Meagan Good Blindspot - NBC - MON - 10 PM - Jaimie Alexander Limitless - CBS - TUE - 10 PM - Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio Grandfathered - FOX - TUE - 8 PM - Paget Brewster, Christina Milian Scream Queens - FOX - TUE - 9 PM - Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin Chicago Med - NBC - TUE - 9 PM - Torrey DeVitto ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torrey_DeVitto ) Never heard of her, but she looks good. Code Black - CBS - WED - 10 PM - Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville Truth Be Told - NBC - FRI - 8:30 PM - Vanessa Lachey |

I've already watched some of the pilots on your list. My opinion not necessarily based on babes starring in them: Minority Report - FOX - MON - 9 PM - Meagan Good Didn't like it. Liked the movie. The TV version seems too tame & boring. Blindspot - NBC - MON - 10 PM - Jaimie Alexander It has a lot of potential and it's just the pilot so we'll see. It's got Jaimie Alexander and also Sullivan Stapleton from one of all time fav shows "Strike Back". Limitless - CBS - TUE - 10 PM - Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio I really liked this one. I loved the movie and the concept and the TV version appears to be true to the movie. My best bet for a hit. Also "Public Morals" is very watchable Supergirl is for kids IMO. I saw one more called "Lucifer" who leaves hell to reside in LA. I'm not sure what to make of this one yet. Bored and unhappy as the G0D of Hell, the original fallen angel, Lucifer Morningstar has abandoned his throne and retired to L.A., where he owns Lux, an upscale nightclub. He doesn't hide the fact of who he is while using his "unique abilities" to help the foxy Lauren German (Chicago Fire) solve crimes. I'd continue watching it for her alone but apparently Fox may hold back its airing because of Christian and mom groups that are screaming about the way he is portrayed as a semi-good guy. |

Trailer contains spoilers. Apparently it's based on a DC comic I never heard of. If you watch it can see if you catch the "Buffy" alum. |

The Principle! If Constantine couldn't succeed, can this? Maybe, not as dark. Too many comic book based shows? |

"Marvel's Jessica Jones" premiers today on Netflix. Krysten Ritter, Erin Moriarty, Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss are all in it. Looks like a pretty good show too. |

I finished all 13 eps of JJ. Rachael Taylor looked best to me. Carrie-Ann Moss got extremely bottom-heavy since her Matrix days. But the show itself could have been reduced to about the length of a movie. It just went on & on with each ep similar to the previous one. Sorry but I don't think Krysten Ritter was the best choice for the lead. Looks-wise she was but she didn't have the acting chops to pull it off IMO. Her character agonizes the whole time but doesn't elicit much empathy if any throughout. I understand the Jessica Jones character is rough & tough but a good actor would make us feel her pain through it all much better. I could be more specific but I don't want to add spoilers. Like I said if it was condensed into even a 4-5 episode series because it does have its moments, it would have been more entertaining. |

Rachel Taylor looked great all the way through, as for Krysten Ritter in the role I liked her I thought she did a good job. I will say it was very slow for it to start though. |

I recently finished the latest House of Cards (season 3). It starts slow, but it gets really good. Excellent acting by Spacey, Wright, and the guy who plays Doug. Kim Dickens plays a veteran reporter who is part of the WH pool. She is stunning! |
