Maybe one of their designers is a big fan of Outnumbered.

Can't blame the designers. Who came up with the name? Maybe that person thought the hamster looked like Harris. Who approved the name? Don't companies have a team of lawyers that are supposed to catch these types of things before the product goes to market? Seriously, how does this happen?

Who ever designed and named the toy obviously wanted Harris to find out about it. They could have just went with her first name, and no one would have caught on.

Maybe, but open themselves up to the risk of her not liking it?
And now she has reacted with the legal action.

So what purpose did this all serve?

Trying to impress a newsbabe gone horribly wrong.

But on the other hand some other newsbabes may have reacted differently. Sadly for this guy Harris didnt like it & sued. But I could see some of this boards favs having a diff reaction of flattery. Remember there are a few that we know read these boards & love our attention so maybe the creator was hoping Harris fell into that category. ( a quick Hi to those ladies if they are reading this post ;) :rock )

Now as for the lawyers how did they not do due diligence & flag it?

Hasbro filed a motion to dismiss the suit but didn't explain how it named the toy hamster Harris Faulkner :?

Curious as to how we know this. (I know there are some people that correspond directly with certain newsbabes.)
