Her cameraman was engaged to someone, but not her. She was living with, and involved with, the station's evening anchor, as per his Twitter. |

That  was a reporter himself (according to reports). Unsure why he was fired but I highly doubt the two people he killed (and a third he was also shot unsure what her condition is) had anything the reason he was unemployed. Also feel bad for those who saw that on live TV, that's has to be traumatic. Granted not as traumatic the friends and family of Ms. Parker and Mr. Ward but can you imagine parents watching that with little kids? Prayers and thoughts go to the family and friends of Ms. Parker and Mr. Ward and the third victim hoping she's recovers.

It is a sad day for my community. The attack happened at Bridgewater Marina, which is next to Smith Mountain Lake, some 30 minutes south of where I live in Bedford, Virginia. Please keep the families of Allison Parker and Adam Ward in your prayers during this time. |
