"The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart announced he will be stepping down from the Comedy Central show later this year, during the taping of the 2/10/15 program: http://www.avclub.com/article/jon-stewa ... how-215070 http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/sty ... ?tid=sm_tw This comes soon after "The Daily Show"s longtime follow-up, "The Colbert Report", closed down in December due to Stephen Colbert's departure to CBS to take over for David Letterman. Heck I'm sure people are waiting for Leno to come back. I still can't believe Stewart is planning his exit. He has more journalistic integrity than most of those in the real news channels. |
