**An alert to users of RapidShare** File sharing service RapidShare has announced it will be shutting down on March 31, 2015 --- http://techcrunch.com/2015/02/10/rapidshare-shuts-down/ http://venturebeat.com/2015/02/10/rapid ... h-31-2015/ No detailed explanation was given, but they are firm that no files will be retrievable after the shutdown date. Anyone using them now is encouraged to relocate to other services while there is time. . |

After they increased their premium fees a year or so ago to 99 euros a month (!!!), I'm not surprised. I finally gave up on them when they did that. The once mighty has finally fallen. But at least they did it on their own terms, unlike other file hosts. |
