Cuomo was not a fan of his co-Anchor Kate Bolduan almost from the get go and wanted her to be replaced.

I was not a fan of Coumo from the get go and wanted him to be replaced. Now yet another reason to skip this show. Camerota is not enough to salvage it.

Assuming everything in the article is accurate, then it also indicates that Robin Meade
won the staring contest (again) with Zucker, and is staying firmly planted in ATL as long as
there's a Morning Express.

But on Kate's situation -- being a new mom and CNN letting this cat out of the bag during her
leave, AND during the holidays -- stay classy, Zuck. :?

Plus as many have already said:
What taking so long for them to get the clue that the biggest problem is Cuomo? :Crazy

I'm certainly not a Zucker defender, but for any boss replacing any employee---when exactly IS a good time to do it?

and if he wanted to replace her, is he not supposed to simply because she has a kid?
hardly seems legal, since women could then hold bosses hostage and just get pregnant whenever things weren't going well.

Good luck to Aly
She got the gig she always wanted
I don't know if she'll have any more success than her predecessors

Aly has a solid background of success at a morning show gig. If New Day ratings don't improve, Zucker would be a fool to not look at Aly's previous success and figure out what the problem is: Cuomo.

where?
no, I don't count FNC weekends.
first of all, big difference between weekends and weekdays.
plus FNC was #1 and has remained there since she left.
an argument could be made that they haven't missed her at all, and that anyone in that chair could get the same results.

if she can produce big numbers at CNN, then she deserves credit.
(but I wouldn't count on it)

It helped when she did that Vegas show she did for two weeks (well so far) which ends today. Not everyone wants to go to New York, remember that Morgan Fogarty left Charlotte for Al-Jazeera then like three weeks into that network being on the air she leaves for family reasons. I admit I questioned this because one she should have thought about her family before accepting that position in the first place not said yes then three weeks into the job left. I think it was maybe she had second thoughts on being on Al-Jazeera or they promise something then when back on their word. I don't know. At least Robin has said no (that we know of so far) and probably repeatedly.

Aly officially starts Jan. 19, though she's already on
Kate gets Michela's 11 a.m. gig starting Jan. 26

It'll keep New Day solidly in 2nd place, I still don't see your average Fox viewer jumping ship to watch 3 hours of Cuomo.

" 'They have tried Chris Cuomo with every available woman,' one individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap." and they still haven't figured out that Cuomo just could be the root of the ratings problem. On the other hand the article also said that "the network was testing several female anchors with and without Cuomo to uncover which pairs had the best chemistry." so maybe they're finally considering what is long overdue: dumping Cuomo.

Keep in mind this is from the NY Post, but some CNN staffers reportedly weren't happy with the way Zucker handled it:

I bet some staffers did complain just like they probably complained when Elisabeth and Anna took over in the mornings at fox
