That's fine. She was there a cool 20 years on Days with others including the woman playing Carrie, her sister, always leaving or being canned. In 2007 the show was in danger of being cancelled too, but it was renewed. It improved in ratings, but has had its ups and downs with cast changes. In 2012, the guy playing Bo quit and did not renew. That was a big thing because that guy was a fan favorite. What is interesting about Days is how many older and former cast members come and go and keep returning when asked to come back for a stay or a cameo. However, these shows can be taxing and they get dull quickly. All the remaining soaps have had drastic cast changes since AMC and OLTL ended on ABC. Bold and the Beautiful made some drastic changes last year. They ended Hunter Tylo's contract and Ron Moss then left. Kim Matula joined along with Rena Sofer. Jack Wagner was canned in 2012 as well. Then long time Young And The Restless actress Michelle Stafford did not renew at that show and was written out. But at the same time Vanessa Marcil returned yet again to General Hospital. However, I do not keep up with GH since Robin Scorpio was killed off and OLTL ended. I do know Jen Lilly went to Days after a stint replacing Kirsten Storms on GH and that Julie Berman left the show so a woman off Y&R replaced her. Also Chrishell Stause, who was on AMC from 2005 till its end in 2011 on ABC, joined Days last fall. But the AMC and OLTL versions online were a flop. It's a mighty long story, but they were officially cancelled in November after a hiatus that started in August. And oh yeah, the guy playing Adam on Y&R was abruptly canned after sexual assault allegations surfaced with other cast members. I guess Alison Sweeny will continue to host The Biggest Loser. I only saw the three seasons of the show with Anna Kournikova. Though I saw a few episodes last year, when Jillian Michaels returned, only to see a former AI winner on the show. P.S. Just read on a website that Kimberly McCullough, Robin Scorpio, had comeback on GH since she didn't actually die, but she too is leaving GH again after she was not renewed. The show wanted her to do guest spots, but she had been hired back. She had been at GH since 1985. Her alleged death was on March 27, 2012. She confirmed on January 16th that she was off the show again after starting in September. |

Yes, the whole "Robin is back" storyline was something else. Only in soapworld. Poor Emma. She's likely to be in therapy for years now. They had a great moment where her mother found her once again. Spliced it with a moment from 20 years ago too. The same two actresses as well. |
