Got this on my Twitter feed just now: Oliver Darcy @oliverdarcy 7m --> RT @BrettLoGiurato: Megyn Kelly is moving to primetime upon her return from maternity leave, Fox announces. Retweeted by Katie Pavlich |

Smart move by Fox. Congrats Megyn! Let the debate begin as to who gets Megyn's daytime time slot! |

There were also rumors that Greta initiated talks with CNN: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-greta-v ... n-network/ So it looks like Megyn will take Greta's spot in the lineup. I wonder who will take Megyn's. I wouldn't be surprised if they give it to Bill Hemmer but I hope they don't. Shannon Bream, Martha MacCallum and Alisyn Camerota are probably the frontrunners for the women. I know Gretchen wants the job, but Fox execs didn't want to give her her own show last year. |

So if Hannity, O'Reilly, and Van Susteren have all signed new contracts to stay, then one of them gets bumped to daytime automatically....probably Greta as many have said. . |

After the Megyn news Greta said on her blog today that her FNC contract is for a prime time show. |

They can put Megyn or Greta at 10 EDT and the other at 11 Bump the O'Reilly rerun to midnight an Hannity to 1 a.m. As for 1 p.m., it should go to Shannon but I wouldn't be surprised if they put Gretchen there If that happens, I'm guessing Anna K would be the favorite to get the F&F gig, though I'd prefer Ainsley

Greta moving back to CNN was everywhere on a google search but 4 hours ago she reiterated that she is not going and that her long term contract is for a prime time slot. There would seem to be an abundance of anchors for prime time slots. I wonder what's next? http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/201 ... 67518.html If Megyn moves to prime time I am happy for her but sad for me. She will probably be behind a desk all the time - head shots only. |

Well, about the only thing I can think of is that Fox is stretching the meaning of "primetime" to include 7pm -- in which case Shepard Smith is brought into the mix. Obviously, someone is going to be moved. On the desk thing - you never know; Megyn's show could follow a pattern similar to Erin Burnett Out Front... a mix of closeups, open-style clear desk, and chair interviews. . |

Megyn's going to come back from pregnancy with a better body than before and she's going to want to show it off |

I don't know what his contract is but maybe one of the other folks gets the 7pm slot. pacificRT wrote: NickA wrote: If Megyn moves to prime time I am happy for her but sad for me. I would be a very happy camper. Megyn has aged well and has many leggy years left especially if she returns in the shape she was in after her last pregnancy. I think she takes the 3rd month off to get in shape, lol. |

She goes on leave on Thu. Her leaves last about six months at least. |

blm489 wrote: She goes on leave on Thu. Her leaves last about six months at least. You meant that figuratively right? Megyn takes 3 months which is longer than most but not 6. Remember when she returned last time she butted heads with that one douchebag that's been a contributor for ever. I think his name is Mike something or other. He had commented on a radio show I think about what the hell is up with Megyn Kelly taking 3 months off for a pregnancy. Megyn had him on her show. Needless -to-say she schooled his a$$ live. It was very entertaining. In fact I just found it on youtube |

Her leave in 2009-2010 was Aug/Sept to February. About 5-6 months. |

Doing a search of when she was capped there is almost a 5 month gap in 2011. Here are caps from her last day 3/16/2011 viewtopic.php?f=37&t=137763 and her return 8/8/2011 viewtopic.php?f=40&t=144990 |

BOR is 63 years old. He probably would like to exit at #1 in the ratings. |

Megyn took the standard 3 month maternity leave. Then was off the air for another 3 months as she was working with the producers to prepare her new show to launch. She may not have been on the air for close to 6 months but that does not mean she was on maternity leave the whole time. Just because you do not see an anchor on the air does not mean they are not working. They do a lot of work OFF the air, too. |

Megyn says farewell to America Live & jokes with Shepard Smith about the primetime lineup. |
