Watching March Madness made me wonder, since I am a sick individual :jetserl :Joker , if an NCAA-style tournament could be done with newsbabes
After a little work, I got four regions :Victory
I'm not seeding them, just listing names
One thing I found out -- Fox has a DEEP bench
With the names I left out, Fox could have its own NIT or at the least, a bunch of play-in games

Ainsley Earhardt, Anna Kooiman, Jenna Lee, Heather Childers, Heather Nauert, Patti Ann Browne, Nicole Petallides, Jamie Colby, Harris Faulkner, Andrea Tantaros, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Gretchen Carlson, Martha MacCallum, Alizyn Camerota, Megyn Kelly, Liz Claman
Apologies to Elizabeth Prann, Marianne Rafferty, Shibani Joshi, Tracy Byrnes, Lauren Simonetti, Shannon Bream, Molly Line, Molly Henneberg and Diane Macedo

NBC REGIONAL (NBC/MSNBC/CNBC)
Chris Jansing, Melissa Lee, Savannah Guthrie, Natalie Morales, Tamron Hall, Mika Brzezinski, Amanda Drury, S.E. Cupp, Becky Quick, Sara Haines, Michelle Beadle, Betty Nqyuen, Veronica de la Cruz, Jenna Wolfe, Dylan Dreyer, Erica Hill
Apologies to Krystal Ball, Alex Witt, Michelle Kosinski and Maria Bartiromo

CNN REGIONAL
Brooke Baldwin, Brianna Keilar, Ashleigh Banfield, Robin Meade, Kyra Phillips, Christine Romans, Erin Burnett, Bonnie Schneider, Christi Paul, Susan Hendricks, Alison Kosik, Richelle Carey, Zoraida Sambolin, Elizabeth Cohen, Jennifer Westhoven, Kate Bolduan
Apologies to Deborah Feyrick, Frederica Whitfueld and Randi Kaye

OTHERS REGIONAL (ABC/CBS/TWC/Bloomberg)
Amy Robach, Norah O'Donnell, Linzie Janis, Trish Regan, Caroline Hyde, Deirdre Bolton, Sara Eisen, Scarlet Fu, Margaret Brennan, Maria LaRosa, Stephanie Abrams, Kelly Cass, Gimger Zee, Rebecca Jarvis, Bianna Golodryga, Jen Carfagno
Apologies to Betty Liu and Olivia Stearns

Sparty's Final Four: Ainsley Earhardt, Chris Jansing, Brianna Keilar, Linzie Janis
And the winner is: Just look at my avatar :Victory

I am sure on here you will find a dozen different winners of the tournament but not really a loser in the field. ;)

Lots of women in the "apologies to" sections who don't or who have almost never shown any leg...

Jus' sayin'...

I was just saying that what was the point of this tournament, if before it was done, the winner was already determined??

We had a HOF but that failed... I don't think the admins would do it again or have a tourney... IMO

I was going to do a Newsbabe Tournament last year in March, but I didn't get everything set up before March ended. I thought about it this March, but was too busy.

I was going to use newsbabes from the following conferences: FNC, FBN, CNN/HLN, ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, NFL Network, NHL Network, TWC, GC, Bloomberg, CNBC, MLB Network.

I like to keep the news, sports, and business conferences seperate from each other.

I would've done 1-16 seeding with 4 different regions featuring newsbabes from different conferences and the posters can type out their favorites from each group. The newsbabe with the most votes would be the winner of that group. My first round would be a play in tournament just like the NCAA tournament.

These are the #1 seeds that our selection committee came up with: Jamie Colby (FNC), Brooke Baldwin (CNN/HLN), Ainsley Earhardt (FNC), and Charissa Thompson (ESPN).
