One thing not mentioned in the discussion is there are no shortage of candidates to replace Gretchen: Aly, Anna, Juliet and, of course, AINSLEY

If they can't come to an agreement imagine if they expanded F&F to two hours and then F&F for two hours. Jettison Dumb and Dumber and give the ladies a chance to own the morning.

That's sounds good and all except for the fact that the two hours after F&F is Martha's two hours and I gotta have my Martha fix!

A significant portion of you weren't around this board to remember the Original F&F First with Ally and what F&F was like with ED Hill before that. Maligned or not, intentional or not, Gretchen has given the men what they wanted, and there is no other "female talent" at FNC that comes anywhere close to that. When she's gone, you'll be bored.
I had the opportunity to meet her very briefly a couple weeks ago and she's very attractive and friendly in person. I would miss her greatly, and if she's replaced by someone else at FNC, you eventually will too. The only panties you'll see will be the ones on the mannequins when you walk into Sears.

You'd figure she remember what happened to Kiran since she had a front row seat for that.

I meant to say expand F&F First to two hours (5-7am) and have F&F for two hours (7-9am). Of course this will never happen but it would be great if it did......with 2 hours on the First side they could do an extended segment with Lauren Simonetti.

I agree with most of what you said. The only worthy replacement would be Ainsley. But I dont think she could carry the show like Gretchen. So that means we would just get more Aly. .. And I know she has some fans here but I would probably stop recording if she gets the job. Not that it would mean much. In my dream world Anna Kooiman would take the job and be the "new Gretchen" but I know that is really wishful thinking.

As much as I like Anna,she's not ready for F&F. She still has a lot to learn. My personal dream scenario would be Ainsley getting bumped up to the curvy couch and Anna taking her spot on F&F First. With Nicole Petallides doing the weekends.

It will be one of the younger ladies not Aly or Juliet. Never cared much for Aly of course being with the two useless and inept bookends doesn't help either. Juliet can't handle the two minute break ins over on FBN so 3 hours is way beyond her level. It has been a while since FNC had a shake up. Might as well stir the pot while they are on top. JMO.
