"Good Afternoon America," as the new edition is called, will be co-hosted by "GMA" regulars Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer. It launches July 9 and will air at 2 PM.

And apparently, The Revolution has been cancelled which I didn't know. Watched it a few times. Seemd okay to me. Better than the Chew for example. Heck, I'll watch anything with Dr. Jen...

Well I won't mind tuning in for Lara. Hopefully they will ditch the desk and stick to couches after all its lighter entertainment. Not sure why they picked Josh but I'm sure I can ignore him as well as any one. Just hoping she continues in the second half of GMA.

Yeah, Lara is good. Great legs on her. I mean "The Talk" not "The Chew". "The Talk" is not good. A "View" rip-off. Just what we do not need...

Lara's not going anywhere...

This afternoon hour is only a 9 week run to fill the gap once The Revolution is shut down, but before Katie Couric's
new show starts.

Many were expecting General Hospital to get axed just as the other ABC soaps did, but they've gotten a reprieve at least for
another year. ABC's gotten loads of complaints about how they handled the cancellation of OLTL or AMC, and neither The Revolution or The Chew have done any spectacular ratings in their place.

One rumor is that Katie insisted that ABC not pull the plug on GH to make room for her show, since she'd wind up getting
blamed for it by soap fans. So that left getting rid of one of the new shows as the only option.

Rightfully so. Well, Katie's looking out for her image. Smart woman. Wonder why the show is taking so long to get up the ground? I guess just to set up a premiere in the fall then.
