Is anyone else disappointed in MSNBC's shift to more point of view/editorial programming instead of news and entertainment?

Check out the launch of Sharon Tay and entertainment programming in 2005!

(check out the photo, comfortable furniture on an MSNBC set... now an endangered species)

How far away is MSNBC from this kind of programming now?

I wish MSNBC was more like CNN; do more news and entertainment with a much broader variety of news anchors. Now, they seem to be locked into hour after hour of batting around the same political topics.

They have Corutney Hazlett from what I've read she is back form having a baby. I think they should have gave her the show after she was done coving Micheal Jackson's death or pare her up with Wille Guest. She was the de fatco 4th host behind Wille on Morning Joe. MSNBC iusse after 09 was and still is they go overboard on poltics like there trying to one up C-Spain and pushing peolpe who can not carry a show. That last one is NBC news as a whole. Not everystory they do is about poiltics or some big watergate type deal. I'll never forget how MSNBC just last year did not cover the earthquake in Japan but chouse to try and trash Fox and Sarah Plain. There was a time and place and that was not it.
