Daytime definitely is a promotion over weekends
And Heather C is off the weekend shift

As for TV Newser, Aly's move to days is mentioned in the FNC press release, so they didn't get it wrong

TVNewser is not making any assumptions he was printing the press release put out by FNC.

Alisyn is leaving F&FW, after this weekend, to do the M-F show at 1pm. This has been settled for a few weeks now but FNC just had not made it public yet. This is not a demotion for Alisyn and she is happy with the move! Finally she is not having to get up in the middle of the night on weekends.

Gretchen's show has been a 1hr show from the beginning of the planning stages and that is what the press release says it is going to be. From the description it sounds as if her show is going to be similar to what Greta has in that Gretchen is going to be doing interviews and focusing more in depth and doing less of a traditional news show.

All I was saying is that until there is definitive announcement regarding Fox And Friends Weekend that we won't know for sure.....I expect that will happen on Sunday.

Here is what the Fox News press release said:

Well, I didn't know it's been common knowledge for weeks now but to be accurate Fox's press release says nothing about F&FW. All it notes is that Hemmer and Alisyn will be doing an hour at 1pm during the week.

Do I think she will be working 7 days a week? No, but I'll wait to hear an official announcement....that's all.

Well if Hemmer and the rest of the men should not be on tv because they are not "Hard News Journalists", most of the women should not be on either.

Hemmer is actually pretty good at news reporting. I've seen people mention before that Fox should have a half hour news show on the main Fox network with Shep Smith hosting but if I were to do that Hemmer would be my host.

Well, I'll agree with you in regards to Beckel. Not to say he should be fired, but as the only Liberal on the Five (4 against 1, really) he, too often, doesn't have his facts straight and thus doesn't offer a strong counter to the other arguments. Either Juan Williams or Kirsten Powers would do a much better job. Don't want to make it like I'm ragging on Beckel too much though....he is known for having helped a lot of people in substance recovery and people who know him say he's a great guy.

Cavuto is the first to move back to the F&F Studio.
They have a desk in the area by the windows that is to the left of the couch area.
Hopefully the weekend newscasts stay in Studio J with no desk.

I agree, best part of The Five is when Beckel tries to scare Kimberly before the commercial break.

Bob seems to be a nice guy that doesn't mind coming off foolish for a FNC paycheck. The last thing his bosses want him to do is come off looking smarter than Eric.

The The Five is like pro wrestling. Everyone at the table knows what is suppose to happen, and what spots they have to hit. If they ever forget; Greg is right there ready to mumble something about his new houseboy before things get too real.

They should find Greg a booster seat and stop allowing a perfectly good leg chair go to waste.

Yeah, I disagree with his politics as well but he is great. That show isn't the same when Juan fills in for him.
