Sadly Carrie Ann Inaba didn't get the co-host spot. :cry:

Instead we get Ryan Seacrest. :Doh

That could also mean we'll never see Julianne Hough as a guest.

I wanted Carrie Ann as well, but as we've discussed here, Kelly would have never gone for a permanent female co-host.

Hope Carrie Ann can be a fill-in when Ryan's not around.

Like, when JayZ tried to tour with R. Kelly (who got so pissed off one night he went out and worked at a McDonald's drive through), or when Sammy Hagar tried to tour with David Lee Roth? Let's see how long this lasts. Anyone want to set the over/under?

Agreed. Totally the wrong choice. Maybe they wanted star power or maybe Kelly wanted him to be her cohost. After the Strahan disaster they probably let her have her way on almost everything.

Then again, maybe ABC wants to hold/increase their female viewership? Seacrest may be in his forties, but he still has his good looks.

not sure if real or fake but host of live with kelly not really into have ryan seacrest on show. since they think only reason brought on to show was help sell america idol and fact does not gel with person.
