This gets confused often...
Director Dino is her grandfather. One of his daughters Veronica, is Giada's mom, and her father is an Italian producer named Alex De Benedetti. Her parents split when Giada and her siblings were very small, and along the way, Veronica decided to legally change all the kids' last name to De Laurentiis, her maiden name. As an adult, Giada decided to maintain it that way, using her mom's side of the family's more famous name.
I've seen no indication about what if any relationship Giada has with her father these days.
Once Giada's baby is born next year, Dino becomes a great-grandfather!
