Post subject:  Lisa R 09/24 (Bonus Leg Action) (First Post)

Maybe somebody could tell me why after I upload the pictures and you select them you have to select View original size at the bottom of the picture.

My first post. Finally figured out how to cap in hd via firewire. (Slow learner, I know.)

Bravo on your first cap post! :bravo

When I clicked on the link, I can see that the caps are clearly HD but I didn't see any "View Original Size" underneth the cap. Can a Fotki user help him out? I think there is a setting. :hum

"View Original Size" shows up when the cap is larger than normal preview size that Fotki allows. By having "View Original Size", it allows viewers of the pic to save the full sized pic. :Kool

Don't worry about slow learning! Everyone is a newbie when they first start to cap. Don't forget to ask any techincal questions you may have in the Tech Forum. :Kool

on your fotki album click on "edit properties" then select "advanced properties" then under "originals avalible to" select "ANYBODY"this will allow anybody to see the full size picture.

Thanks all.

I made the change ModelHunter suggested and you still get a small picture but when you click on it you get the option to see the original size which is at least twice as big.

under advanced options you change "photo view size" to 800x800 thats the largest setting.Read all the differant settings,you have it on 500x500 now,it's very simple.

Even with 800x800 you still have to click the link to get the full size pics with HD caps. Fotki's way of saving bandwidth I guess. It helps the owner of the album because there is a daily bandwidth limit, and if it's reached the album gets locked for viewers the rest of the day. When I was posting caps on the daily I would reach the limits. :P
