I'd rather see her at night,i work during the day.but i think her excuse for moving to days is BS.her kids are old enough not to have mommy home when they get home.i am wondering if QVC is pushing her out the door.she is what 48,49?I have always said they wont let her see 50 there.Kathy Levine left before she was 50,QVC doesnt seem to let there female hosts get to old.the men fine, the women nope(thats a shame)

I think she has a son thats about 20 and her daughter who is the youngest is somewhere between 8-10

I think the kids are too old to want Mom around if they are teenagers/College except maybe the daughter

and Mary Beth I think is 49

I thought she mentioned once that she homeschooled their kids??? Maybe not. I'm just glad she's not gone. She's absolutely my all-time favorite!!!

Mary Beth is only getting better with age. QVC needs to keep her on the air.

The way I took it was that with her being home at night, she can spend more time with them. Dinner, going out and so on.

With the oldest in collage, she said that she missed him, so she may want to have nights to spend with them. Once kids get out of high school or collage, it seems like they have a life of thier own and are not around much anymore. And she does have a very close family.

As far as homeschooling, you can't blame parents anymore unless you can afford a nice private school that teaches instead of brainwashing. I dought she would send them to public school.

Don't read much into her age. She is one of the best of all time that QVC has ever had and most liked. As far as Kathy Levine, she left on her own and didn't make it. She would still be a host if she stayed.

BTW, she is 49 as with Colleen Lopez what a pair of milfs :P

homeschooling isnt a form of brainwashing?to me it is.all the child is going to think mommy and daddy is always right.and the child is going to be soicially inept.she needs to interact with other kids.public school is reality, you run into people who dont look and act like you.plus what qualifies MBR to homeschool her anyway?she's been at QVC for 20 years,if she has a teaching degree it is way out of date.

As long as MBR stays, that's fine with me.

dad123, homeschooling kids over all are much more better off then kids that go to public schools. That has been proven, and if you look up MBR's background, you will see that she is not dumb. She is most likely smarter then the teachers. Just look at you inner city schools and look at what they put out if the kids don't drop out 1st

Why is it that the teachers unions do not want teachers to take test to see if they are fit to teach ? If they were and if they care about the kids like they say they are, thet would insist that teachers take a test every few years

i know MBR isnt dumb, but you dont have a career for over twenty years then dust of a degree you mave have gotten over 25 years ago and say i am now going to homeschool my daughter.

Anyone with tween-age or teenage children knows how demanding parenting can be. The lucky parents have kids who get involved in everything and need to be in two, three or four places at once. It's wonderful being a chauffer, diplomat and coach with no training whatsoever!

I can easily understand that she'd want to spend more time with the kids. If that's what she says, that's fine with me.

I'm not inclined to agree that she is being pushed to days by Q management, as she looks phenominal for her age and she is easily one of their top 5 hosts. She has maintained a loyal viewer following, if the show callers are to be believed. I do believe that daytime is going to hurt her marketability, though, as there are statistically fewer viewers during the traditional working day and a portion of her fans won't be able to watch her live.

My best guess is that she'll walk away in the next 3-4 years. And I'll be watching, 'cause she's got killer legs!

dad123, I didn't mean MBR is home schooling. I was just making a point. If you ever heard her talk, she sends her kids to school and I'm sure they are private schools.

But I will say is that MBR and her hubby talks to the kids and helps them out as much as they can. Alot of people will send thier kids to school and that is it. The real learning comes from home, well lets just say it use to in many cases Now kids that know nothing are having kids, so how can they sit down and help thier kids learn ?
