While I get that you are not big fans of some hosts, the only thing that matters to QVC management is sales. |

The holding company for QVC just posted their biggest lost last quarter (mainly due to the purchase of HSN). I expect the CEO to be replaced in the near future. |

Makes me wonder if QVC's parent company should have bought HSN? HSN as of June is only live 7am-2am and three hosts have left. QVC3 is unnecessary as QVC2 replays shows from QVC and QVC2 12am to 12 PM weekdays and 10 PM to 10 AM weekends. |

They bought HSN to bolster their buying base because the reality is that the competition isn't QVC vs HSN vs Evine, its Amazon vs everyone else. I don't get why they're putting a gap in the live content at HSN. I doubt its over costs since they can, and have, cut costs in other areas. |

Unless you are privy to the financial info. the execs. see, we have no way of knowing whether a particular host sales are there or not. The quarterly reports do not list that info., they only state how much a particular sales category made and whether it's up or down since the last quarter. That being said if QVC execs. thought someone other then Carolyn would increase the sales for the items presented in her shows, they would have another host, hosting the shows and she would either be moved to a different time slot and shows, or let go. |

The easy solution is to just check the host schedules. They are a blessing...no more shall I be ambushed by Carolyn, Alberti, or David.....  Edit: Except when a host isn't listed on the schedule and then shows up...whether accidental or intentional....for example, I was watching Q2 today because Gabrielle was hosting a food show, solo as listed on the schedule (I should have known better, no one other than David does those solo), and guess which clown showed up 'Magically' after the first hour...I was not amused...(ambushed, literally, heh). |
