I knew Paul was going to join SNBC when I saw on the Week in Review for the jewelry shows that they were pushing his gemstone book. I guess Paul and Judy are the cheaper (salarywise) version of Pam and Wes.

Anonymous said this on one of the Shopping blogs in early July, "ShopNBC is filling it's offices with former QVC execs., it's studios with former QVC hosts, pretty soon it's graphics and on-air image will start to resemble the "Q"." All seems true. Dave King, Paul Deasy are new hosts and soon Judy Crowell will be one of their on air hosts. The graphics do look close to QVC's. I wonder if this will work to get them more sales. At least for us the new graphics layout gives more space video. I'd have to say QVC and HSN are the top 2 Shopping channels with ShopNBC 3rd. |

Could be possible,i know SNBC hired the founder of QVC's son as an adviser http://www.segelassociates.com/ournews.php I also think former QVC host Paul Kelley is now in charge of the hosts. |

I guess Paul and Judy are the cheaper (salarywise) version of Pam and Wes. outside of the royalties from her line of cheesy jackets, i can't believe that pam and wes were/are getting all that much more. i don't think they had a lot of fans, all the shopping channel forum queens snarked on them terribly. if they were selling, they'd still be there. SNBC was on the verge of going under earlier this year so i guess this is the last-ditch effort to save the enterprise. |

I also read that Suzanne Somers will start selling her products on ShopNBC starting in September. |
