| I'm a little bit confused. Are you having trouble watching videos, say on YouTube, or videos you've downloaded to watch on your desktop? I guess I'll just answer both. For the latter, we've mentioned it time and time again: VLC is always the way to go. Or if your problem is watching streaming videos... |

| I don't think there's software that exists specifically for that purpose. :? You could just do it manually. Use your preferred screen capture software, play the streaming video in fullscreen, and hold down the capture hotkey. That's literally what I did once when I couldn't download a stream a coupl... |

| For YouTube videos, I use 4K Download as it can download videos larger than 720p up to 4K (Video DownloadHelper for Firefox won't download videos over 720p on YouTube). I'll get the simple questions out the way first:
1. What format are the videos you're trying to play?
2. Have you tried VLC? It plays nearly everything.
In any case, I'd always advise using VLC and avoid installing codecs to make Media Player work. |

On TV, multiple wide shots only down to her shins coming out of commercials. If you were watching on CNNx, full wide shot as there is no ticker at the bottom of the screen. |

| Windows also comes with a free snipping tool to capture images only otherwise you can use free print screen software like Gadwin or PicPick. The older 4.7 version of Gadwin is awesome for screenshots. It's my go-to program for caps. There are other programs one can try to capture video off a screen... |
