It's 60 fps because Fox is a 720p channel. If you cut it to 30 fps it just doesn't look/move right.

The high bitrate is because MediaCoder was being problematic and the picture would get all pixelated at lower bitrates.

Have you tried Virtual dub because it works great with HD

Come on Cobra. You're a capper so you should be able to convert it to whatever bitrate/framerate that you want.
